The uxo vessel is made of individually handcrafted tiles of glass that are fused together, attached to a blowpipe and then coated in several layers of colorless molten glass. Jeff was inspired by the CIA’s covert operation between 1964-1973 in Laos, where the US dropped more bombs than the total amount dropped in World War against Germany and Japan. Many of these bombs remain as unexploded ordinances (UXO).
